Canceling Ancestry.com Free Trial?
I created an account 13 days ago and am not quite sure i want to pay for it this month. Is there any way to cancel it but have access to the information that you’ve gathered later if you want to reopen it? I don’t want all the information i’ve found to disappear.

I have been using ancestry.com for about four years and have never had a paid account. I can access my family tree and incite people to see it. I also get the hints and can see the information from other peoples family trees. Instead of clicking and automatically having the information added to my tree. I need to type in all the information. The real problem I think for you is having access to the official records like the census. When I have been able to access these records, during free periods, I copy and label them, ex: Grandpa Joseph 1880 census and keep it in a folder. That way I have the record which to me is what is important! So if I were you, I would copy all the records because you will not be able to see them once you cancel.
