There is a possibility that this is Harris Shapiro’s daughter Tillie. The age is close [most census ages are off a few years] and she and her husband Samuel and their children live next door to Harris and his wife as of the 1910 census. He is also a Russian immigrant and his occupation is a presser in a shirt factory. It would at least merit checking out.

Census Tract $93.99 High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles A census tract, census area, or census district is a geographic region defined for the purpose of taking a census. Usually these coincide with the limits of cities, towns or other administrative areas and several tracts commonly exist within a county. In unincorporated areas of the United States these are often arbitrary, except for coinciding with political lines. Census tracts represent the smallest territorial unit for which population data are available in many countries. In the United States, census tracts are subdivided into block groups and census blocks. In Canada they are divided into dissemination areas. Author: Miller, Frederic P./ Vandome, Agnes F./ McBrewster, John Binding Type: Paperback Number of Pages: 144 Publication Date: 2010/07/19 Language: English Dimensions: 5.98 x 9.01 x 0.33 inches |

Ancestry and Health $100.37 High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles Racial and ethnic groups can exhibit substantial average differences in disease incidence, disease severity, disease progression, and response to treatment. In the United States, African Americans have higher rates of mortality than does any other racial or ethnic group for 8 of the top 10 causes of death. U.S. Latinos have higher rates of death from diabetes, liver disease, and infectious diseases than do nonLatinos. Native Americans suffer from higher rates of diabetes, tuberculosis, pneumonia, influenza, and alcoholism than does the rest of the U.S. population. For the monogenic diseases, the frequency of causative alleles usually correlates best with ancestry, whether familial, ethnic, or geographical. To the extent that ancestry corresponds with racial or ethnic groups or subgroups, the incidence of monogenic diseases can differ between groups categorized by race or ethnicity, and healthcare professionals typically take these patterns into account in making diagnoses.
