Can you guess my ancestry?
I’m only sure about one-half of my ancestry, the other half is a mystery. I know that my paternal family is primarily German/English, maybe a sprinkling of Whatever Else, but my mother was adopted as an infant and has never met either of her bio parents. She says she has no desire to know despite the fact that I am insanely curious.

There are records of adoptions, you just need a copy of your mums birth certificate which should give you her biological parents or at least her mum’s name to start tracing.
