How can i export my family tree from Family Tree Maker 2005 to my new tree on Ancestry.com
I have just started a family tree on Ancestry.com, of which i am a member. How can i export my tree which is on Family Tree Maker 2005 to my new tree on Ancestry.com which i have just joined. I can download from FTM 2005 (GEDCOM) but can’t transfer it to Ancestry.com Any help most appreciated
Go to your account on ancestry and then Home. You will be shown what trees you have and/or a link to create a new tree or upload a gedcom. You can upload your gedcom that way.
They’ve been tweeking the site so it looks different from time to time.
