Are there other ways to obtain census information other than by ancestry.com?

I love ancestry.com but I’m looking for other avenues to obtain the censuses for my family research that come in the same eay format as ancestry.com without the subscription cost…..

The best of both worlds is to use Ancestry.com for free at your local library. It requires a bit more planning and is not a convenient as being able to look at the census from home anytime that you wish but you can’t argue with the price.

Also, with a library card you can get the census from home through HeritageQuest and some states and counties have a few census data online specific to their area.
