Ancestry.com VS. WorldVitalRecords.com?

I am not familiar with the second site you mention, but want to offer a perspective.
All genealogy is not on the internet. This is one of the most common roadblocks I see, and perhaps we can help you past that. Even if the 2nd site HAS records which are not on ancestry, it still is not guaranteed that your particular fact/ record will be there.
IF you are looking for relatively “recent’ info (which would be standard, in beginning research), you might find that they are restricted. This is standard, in order to protect privacy. For example.. the LATEST census open for research (in the US) is the 1930 census. It is a bit of catch22, but the further back you get, the more records open up.
There are thousands on thousands of sites online which may/ may not have what you want. Please don’t limit your imagination to “one best” site. What one person finds incredible, may not be of any use to you, at all. It ALL COMES DOWN TO THE PERSON, THE PLACE, THE TIME.
If the person is not living, I encourage you to post what you need here, and let someone here help find it.
