Ancestry Visa application process!!!?
For the record I’m in Australia…
I just completed my application for UK ancestry and I’m not really sure what happens next. I’ve got my biometrics interview booked for the 23rd of this month.
I know I have to prove my ancestry with all the relevant documentation, but how exactly do I do this? Do I have to take it into the Biometrics place, or mail it off? The application process didn’t exactly give me a plethora of information, or maybe I’m just stupid.
If so, what information do you recommend I take in. Obviously I’ll need original birth certificates and such, which I already have, but will I need anything else?
Any information would be greatly appreciated. I’m stressing out that I’m gonna lose my $420
As with any visa application made to the UK, whether you made it via the post or via the internet, you have so many days to supply the relevant documents to support your application. If they do not receive these documents within a certain time frame after receiving your application, they will just deny your application and you will have lost the fee.
You really need to call the British embassy to see what the time frame is, so it doesn’t sneak past you.
Good luck
