wanting to aplly 4 a uk ancestry visa i hve a criminal conviction 4 misuse document can i still get one?
I have a criminal convictions for misuse of a document and really want to go and work there bbut dont know if i can get a visa, i dont want to have to pay the 600 dollars for the visa then not get it i live and have a new zealand passport
Misuse of a document? You mean fraud.
Unlikely you will be granted a visa with a fraud conviction. The Ancestry visa is a concession to Commonwealth citizens, but not a right. It allows Commonwealth citizens the opportunity to live and work in the UK without the stringent points based assessment for work visas that other applicants have to comply with. Accordingly, UKBA can be picky about who gets it and who doesn’t.
