You should keep a close watch not only for stories but also for writers and other staff on these old periodicals. Back then, even before radio and television came around, there were literally hundreds of newspaper and magazines published. Several colleges as well as public libraries, all linked to the Internet can be a source of valuable information to help your personal ancestry search.
