Holding a successful garage sale to raise funds Awareness
There is an art to holding a successful garage sale and earn big money. Any money you spend, always reimburse yourself first revenue from the sale!
Four weeks before sale, e-mail to all your friends coworkers, and family members. Tell them you're having a garage sale, where 100% of the proceeds will be donated to breast cancer. In addition, ask if anyone wants to volunteer their time to help you call. In your email give suggestions on the topics:
- Furniture (Let them know if they have furniture to call. You can rent a U-Haul truck for $ 30. If someone calls, you can program to collect all of the furniture world the same day.)
- Clothing (men, women, children) – Order hangers
- Handbags, briefcases, suitcases
- Old CDs, cameras photographic, electronic, computer, lamps

- Toys, sporting goods (golf, baseball, soccer, ski, etc.)
- Photos, picture frames
- Books, magazines
- Pillows, curtains, bedding, shower curtains, towels, tablecloths, napkins
- Cosmetics (people love to buy those miniature samples were obtained as gifts over the counter cosmetics), hair dryer, curlers hot
- Baked – If you do not have any products that suggest that a batch of cookies or brownies. You can sell for $ 1 each.

- T-shirt Breast Cancer – Make sure everyone is working on sale is a pink shirt . This makes it easy for delegates to its sale to find people that actually worked. If you do not have a pink shirt, baseball caps buy pink for they use.
- Money – Make sure you have enough of 1, 5, 10 and quarters. I have nothing smaller than a quarter. I recommend least $ 100. Do not take checks unless you know the person. Learned the hard way, when we sold two beautiful wings back chairs for $ 100 to the woman and check bounced! If anyone asks tell them that the nearest ATM is for them to get money.
- Prices elements – not recommended any product pricing. What we do is that all profits will be donated to breast cancer we are asking for a donation.
