What is the origin of the name "Polanco?"?
I saw the name on the census lists many published online, and reference one of the coats of arms that this surname is German sites? It seems unlikely that this surname is of Hispanic origin in use. I can not find anything else and all I'd like to know the origin and meaning of this name, not the monitoring of a tree!
The coat of arms sites have no value as a reference. Most published information is not taken from credible sources and can not withstand scrutiny, even base. Polanco is translated from Latin as basically who is a star … and yes, is a Hispanic name. German credible genealogy sites do not refer to this name.
