I created a family tree on ancestry.com is that free?
Yes it is. I have both a subscription (pay) account and a free account on Ancestry and have been able to make trees with both. Also, if they never asked you for a credit card number and/or you never gave them one, then it is a safe bet that you haven’t been charged for anything.
