World population is actually decreasing?
I have a math homework and a part of it is the world's population. Basically give us a statement that we know is false but must prove why. I had to draw a family tree to great-grandparents and then the task, he says. "A As you go back through each generation the number of ancestors who have doubles. The demonstration of the population was higher in the past. The further back further you go, the more people there. The world population is declining. "Ok so yes, I know that the population is increasing, I'm not too sure how to explain why there are more ancestors of return. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks =)

I can do genealogy as a hobby, and although I have about 160,000 people in my database, dating back hundreds of years, and most of them have long gone.
