Has anyone taken part in a project of Family Tree DNA?

I ordered the kit FamilytreeDNA want $ 103. Thought I would comment here first

I have had both mitochondrial and autosomal done. Is according to what your purpose is. If you are involved in the story family and want to be a match with other family trees to find other ancestors and relatives, proof of their mitochondrial DNA and Y can be a useful tool. And passed from parents to children only. Mitochondrial passed from mother to sons and daughters but the daughters only to pass to your children. The number one company doing that kind of evidence is FamilyTreeDNA http://www.familytreedna.com/ Now if you just want a photo of your reigonal / ethnicity, you would be wasting their money to pay for the test of Y & Mitochondrial. One company advertises only Y & Mitochondrial that will help them discover their "deep ancestral roots, but it is only their ancestral roots on two lines. It will take you back to the beginning of the two lines of their nomadic ancestors and assigned to a haplogroup. But you come from a variety of lines family will not be a part of Y & Mitochondrial evidence. Right off the bat to leave out a person's maternal grandfather and paternal grandmother. If you go back to their grandparents 6xgreat, is reached from 510 individuals. It's like the pyramids of return. You get your mitochondrial and if they were only 8 men who would get your And just 8, leaving total of 494 hand all people. There is a company that will use your autosomal DNA to match the populations around the world. Their total genetic pattern is represented by autosomal. Y & Mitochondrial are a small part of its autosomal. This company will not tell you is half of somethiing, 1 / 4 of something again and again in January / 4 otherwise. They will give their first 20 games likelihood ratios. We also have a score of tribe that will give you the percentile score in MLI that population. http://www.DNATribes.com company now, I discovered that not necessarily get your autosomal 50-50 from both parents. This is a roll of the dice how land rates in any one brother. http://www.searchmytree.com/Inheritance …. my sister asked me if DNATribes with whom I share both parents had the same autosomal testing and replied: "Two brothers each get unique results. Member of the family tend to share some regional or ethnic affiliations, but in some cases the parties can vary substantially among siblings. "FamilyTreeDNA offers autosomal tests but would not give me an analysis. I had to send DNATribes. I think FamilyTreeDNA who once gave his analysis.
