Hathersage is a small town in the Peak District which highlights all the character of the Peak District and is located in the northeast of the Peak District National Park in the Derwent Valley and about 13 miles north-east of Buxton and is on the main road out of the Peak District to the city of Sheffield. The city has stores very good and not a lot of holiday homes in the city that you could stay in time visiting the neighborhood on edge.

It is more than coincidence that the title of "Jane Eyre" may have been connected to the Eyre family who were lords of the house for about 800 years.
A resident named Robert Eyre stay in the North Hall of Lee still is in Hathersage and said it was to have built seven houses in each of his seven children and the others were visible to each other.

The famous Stilton cheese is near the village of Hartington. The Duke of Devonshire dairy began in the 1880s. Thomas Nuttall ran the dairy in 1900 because he wanted to move away the outbreak of FMD in the valley of Belvoir in Leicestershire. Just for reference the dairy is now using 9000 liters of milk each day and produces 1000 Knuckles Stilton cheese all day (round chunks of cheese)
Hartington has a large network of roads in the village and one of these gateways is the walk along the stunning Dale Beresford. The rocks along the valley are abnormally shaped and there are several caves nearby.
Cottages in The Peak District, Elton are based on farmland and have an interest in seeing the results of unusual rock movements as Robin Hood Stride and stone circles.
Astonefield has a number of Peak District Houses in this town very attractive and seems to attract the people strolling in the area. Probably due to the location and comfort of the ways of village.
