Is it right to display a 3 year old boy to his father in the coffin?
granddaughter of my mother .. said he had nightmares if she saw her father (my son) in the coffin told me that if there is someone to instill nightmares then I could have them .. I told him that was the end of the story. (See this in the coffin). and my grandduaghter not have expected him to go home … I have a daughter 6 years old and saw his brother in the coffin and two members of the family closer than ever have nightmare.i tell God took my daughter to his brother because he needed a gardener to plant trees and flowers (see his brother in the coffin. It was the end of his memoirs store only.) my daughter my granddaughter tells his dad is in heaven with the angels .. but my grandduaghter keeps asking when daddy come home? .. What you think?
This is an individual choice. It seems her mother has the choice granddaughter. If the chld is having nightmares and you have to visit, you may be able to help ease their father telling stories that even his mother does not know. From his childhood when he was 3 years old, things like that. Death is often more easy to accept, but possibly not understood by young people. Sorry for your loss. I pray your relationship with your granddaughter is growing rapidly as the years pass and that what ever decision of his mother is not going to be a wedge among you, but a bridge that both walk through. My grown son is not upset that I did not let see her dad. However, to this day he misses, because they were very close, not because they could see the shell that was left behind. Death is so personal and different for everyone. Again, sympathy and prayers are with you.
