Does anyone know where I can find the Laban family tree through all the sons of Jacob?
I just read The Red Tent (large book true.) And now I really want a good family tree that begins with Laban and all his wives. It would be ideal if all ended with great-grandchildren of Laban like all the children of Reuben and Simeon and Joseph and everything. Please help!
Except as seen in the Bible, you will not find anything else. There are some people who claim to follow their ancestry back to Adam and Eve Bible or someone, but do not meet the documentation standards of professional genealogist. Simply there are no records going back that far. Many oral tradition was that the writers put in the Bible. All documents have been destroyed during the years. I've seen trees that claim to follow the British royal family back to David's royal line, but is based on speculation. You have to understand that people writes historical novels are not the same as the history books and in them is a lot of speculation to make the story interesting.
