What is the most beautiful town in Colorado to a reasonable distance from Denver?
My family is planning to move to Colorado from Kansas this summer and we are looking for city w / a real mountain atmosphere to it. Find a smaller town w / lots of trees and green areas is important for us. We love the look of the Evergreen area, but is a little beyond Denver that my husband wants to travel. In addition, we are not interested in anything east of I-25 or any city filled w / people. We go camping in Colorado Springs / Denver each summer and are a bit w / family in the area, but we would like an entry for a local different perspective.
Well, there are several cities near Denver then Evergreen, but you're not going to get the feel mountaineer. Here is a list of cities I think could be a good fit for you, and I have to study. Boulder Pro's-very near the mountains, quiet, relaxed, but there are people is not vague to the elbows. It is very nice, very green and 26 miles from Estes Park. It is also independent and are held outdoors. Con's "Far from Denver during the rush hour would be a two-hour trip. 45 minutes during peak times no. expensive houses are impressive, but its cost is high. is a college town, and parts of the city I was in College and environment. Broomfield Pro's "Very sure, one of the safest suburbs of Denver. Housing for all costs about 25, about an hour away during peak times, near the mountains, Estes is 36 miles away, near the stone, close to all major highways, very quiet, newer houses, very nice green, though not very artistic. "It's a hell Con's surburbian! There is a street with a white van parked outside each home, each house has a wooden fence painted white, all look the same and at least one gold Retreiver on it. Broomfield is boring, is autonomous, but not much to do outside of the store. Also not really a mountain environment. Lakewood / Wheat Ridge Prospect closest I travel on the list. So green I can not remember what the houses look and I like avoid the plague in the allergy season. Easy access to the city, not by the road near Lookout Mountain, the home of all costs. Safe. The city has character. Con's "It's not in the mountains, I'm not 100% sure of the vibration. Quiet and has lots of unique shops. My best recommendation would be look at all these aspects before deciding to purchase. We will not find a mountain village within 30 minutes from Denver, a sub yes, but not the real city. also Another thing I would like to know is what area your husband would be working in. Gold would be a good place, well, I can not believe I forgot about it.
