What genealogy software?
Can anyone give advice or testimony to different family tree / genealogy software? More specifically Family Tree Maker, Legacy or RootsMagic. Thanks! When I look around I see Family Tree Maker said to work better with the purchase of membership to Ancestory.com, but I can get free access to those from the library.
I use Family Tree Maker 2008 (standby for 2009 in the mail). I like much, but I can also wait for 2009. For example, Ancestry.com can decide to combine tracks or ignore, you can not ignore them in 2008, but allegedly you can be in 2009. I looked at Legacy, and one of the main reasons you would like to prove that the ready to print you can do. That's not really important to some people. Edit: FTM favorite part is the mapping feature. Shows the different places where their ancestors lived through Google Earth. The downside is that there are no more places and Google Earth does not know what you mean. Would it be better if love can track the movement of a family with him. (That is, small arrows from point a – b> -> C)
