What is the role of a grandmother?
Full-time job. I try to stay active and healthy (exercise class, walking, watching diet). I love my granddaughter 2 years old with all my heart. My daughter only let me see it when it's convenient for her. I can not see her when her husband is home for dinner. I can not see it at all when the grandparents come to visit others (Which is quite often). Tonight I can not see because it's family night! I was part of the family! By Moreover, when they need a babysitter, I'm the one who called. If it happens that I have a prior commitment, I am treated badly and said I have my priorities in disorder. Whenever I have a day of rest or time off, I'd love to take her to the park or lunch or to watch the lighting of a Christmas tree in the plaza where I work. But if it isn't time to help my daughter, she thinks that the time spent is for nothing! I raised my twin daughters and I think that grandchildren are a gift from God .. to be loved and enjoyed by their grandparents.
