Why is it we get fleeced in the UK to look at Census records which should be available to us freely?
If you’ve ever tried to trace you ancestors you’ll know what I mean! Genes reunited,ancestry.com etc etc charge a lot of money to browse these documents which in my view should be available to everyone free of charge.

I totally agree with you. Although I have to admit I pay for the world collection with www.ancestry.com for my money I can access every document they have on their data base. I do look ups for people on here for FREE, and then share the image via ancestry.com. To do this for you I need your email address, if you would like to email me through my yahoo profile with the information you would like me to find for you, I am quite happy to do so.
