Dna Testing Labs Provide Testing for Dna Results

DNA Testing is the best way for legal paternity testing to provide testing for the child and the alleged father. The genetic analysis is performed by trained technicians to be accurate up to 99%, this insures proper analysis. What does DNA stand for, it stands for deoxyribonucleic acid. DNA testing labs perform analysis to determine identity, paternity, and DNA fingerprinting. If you want your paternity test to stand up in a court of law based on the DNA results you should have the legal test done which costs usually 200-300 dollars more then the personal test. This test is admissible in court and can be used to provide evidence in child custody and alimony cases.

One of the most well known cases of child custody involved Anna Nicole Smith, who died before the results were actually known but it was later determined that Larry Birkhead was indeed the father of little Daniell Lyn. This is just one example of when a DNA test can be used to solve very difficult situations that otherwise would not be solved.

The personal paternity test will cost you about $200. One resource you can use to find out more information is DNA Testing Labs they are experts in providing you the knowledge and information you need to make an informed decision on what path to take, they also have information on how to obtain a free DNA test, they also can point you in the right direction for dna ancestry results. Another famous person that is always dealing with paternity tests is Maury Povich, almost every other day he has a guest that does not know who the father of her child is, sometimes some of the women have been on the show several times before they find out the identity of the father, now I know this is T.V. but I feel it is degrading to women in some ways because you always seem like the women are loose and easy sleeping with so many men. It is one of my favorite shows but I feel they should have more men on the show who want to have a test taken to even it out a little bit.

Recently a study was revealed that showed over 20% of men are paying child payments for children that are not their own. This is an issue that has to be looked into further because I would want to know personally if I was pay child support for a child that was not mine. A recent case involving a man that was paying child support then DNA testing results revealed that he was not the dad but the court ruled that he still had to pay, talk about getting a second opinion, give me a break.

Ancestry testing is very big now, everybody wants to know were their ancestors came from and how much of certain races they have in their genetic results. A lot of people are doing DNA tests to see if they have Indian DNA in their blood so they can cash in on joining a tribe or something. I do not blame them one bit because if I could I would join a tribe myself and start reaping the rewards of owning a casino and take it all to the bank.

African American DNA ancestry testing has been popular for some time now, you can find out exactly what your genetic ancestry is based on a DNA library that match your genes with. Sounds simple but it is pretty complicated, ancestry testing will cost you about $200 or more depending on where you get the test done at. This all falls under forensic DNA were your DNA is examined and analyzed to see if what code it is made of, the codes that match up the best must have a common ancestor, a lot of this is done by computers because the math could give you a headache I am sure. Guess what, Dog testing is big now for your dog.

An owner can have a home kit sent to their house and you clip some hair off of your dog and send it in to the lab. The lab then runs their DNA analysis on the sample and can tell you what your mutt is made of, this is pretty cool I think because their are a lot of mutts out there who do not know who their daddy is. I have a dog that I am thinking about having the test done on because I do not really know what this little critter is made of, sometimes I think he is part boxer and other times he looks like a doberman pinscher I’m not sure but it would be worth it to find out.

DNA fingerprinting or profiling is used to provide evidence in rape and murder cases, sometimes it can be used to get a person out of jail if they have been convicted but DNA testing later proves that beyond a shadow of a doubt that it could not have been them that committed the crime. Thank goodness for genetics. So there you have it, a crash course on DNA testing, if you made it to the end of this article give yourself a pat on the back and remember to stay in school.
