Public libraries most likely have both Ancestry.com and Heritage Quest.com free for anyone to use, while in the library and a library card must be able to use Heritage Quest in the country. Addition their records online, they have the Family History Centers where you can go to get help research and the visit of microfilm and microfiche and only charge if they have to ask something specific for you or you need photocopies. This extensive site is packed with tips volunteers how to do consultations and records of all states and most counties in the states.
