Help in the search for Polish ancestors?
My wife is doing her family tree she is a 2nd generation Polish American Decent on the side of his father, and 3rd generation of German decent by his mother. How do you get information about your grandparents from Poland, that was part of Austria at the time they were born (now Poland is the result of WW1) and his great-grandparents were also from Austria too. She has the years they were born, and in the cities, but she does not know whether he had siblings. His father and uncles had died, and his mother does not remember things that also today.
