If I go to ancestry.com and sign up for the free trial and cancel before it ends will I have to pay for it?
My mom wants to know if it will take the money out of the bank and then put it back if I cancel it before the trial ends OR do nothing with the credit card info and take the money out if the trial is NOT ended.
I signed up for a free trial at Netflix. I gave them my credit card number and info. I wasn’t charged anything until the free trial was over. I could have canceled any time during the trial and I wouldn’t have been charged anything. I’m pretty sure that site does the same thing but you might wanna read the disclaimer before you sign up.
They, in a sense, hold onto your info until you decide you want there service,
Your card shouldn’t be charged anything until a) your trial is up and you don’t cancel or b) you decide you want there service and you authorize payment.
