can you recommend a legitimate online public records site?
i am looking for geneology related records–specifically marriage records-i looked into one site–and found it on ripoff report..
i looked into a few others that claimed they were 100% free–and there was a charge…
possibly ancestry.com?
the records are available through the government–but I don’t have time during the week to be tracking down records at city halls….i need to do this online…and I don’t know where the actual marriage was…only the names and state…
I am willing to pay–as long as it is legit
but when a site claims it is free and than charges-that tells me its fraud
this is for US records
You might be able to get a trial membership with them.
