Anyone have any info on the windish / vindish people?
I Windish / Vindish, a small area bordering Poland Culture / Hungary v Germany, Yugoslavia. People apparently left there country and moved to Bethlehem, PA and Chicago. Unfortunately there is very little information on this culture. Does anyone have any cultural information on the Windish. There is little in the wikipedia / Internet. A Jewish friend of mine argued that it was one of the 10 tribes Israel lost, I am sure that is not correct, but any information would be great about the people. I've had teachers in the past that said that I was doing my kindred, and I would enjoy a definitive proof of its existence.
