The origin of the dog – Trace the line of man's best friend
Just in the early days of our existence on this planet, we have forged a strong bond of friendship with some original form of modern dog. Because the dogs protected us and our cattle and other animals of the wild beasts, took them in and a part of our food. We have learned to trust the dog and take care of it.
Who was the original dog?
The original dog must have been soft or even a jackal a sick wolf who was expelled from his pack. In the course of their search for food and shelter, must have met some hunters. Imagine the link should be developed between this whelp defenseless children and women at home who cared for her. This is introduced into a human home, the dogs came to regard themselves as no less members of the family.
Dogs in the Ancient
Signs of dog indigenous families found almost everywhere except in places like West Indies the eastern islands of the Malay Archipelago, Polynesia, Madagascar and New Zealand. In these places, there is absolutely no sign of fox, dog or wolf could have existed in the distant past.
In the former Eastern countries and Mongolia, the dog is still a wild creature, abandoned for several hundred years. He moved in herds, thin and half starved, "as it is now moving in the streets of several cities in the east. No one made any attempt to invite the company human or to give an easier life. However, the records of the civilizations of Egypt and Assyria show some different, better varieties of dogs.
What does the Bible say about dogs
The dog was often seen in Palestine. Both Testament refer to her in derogatory terms and contemptuously called a "filthy beast." A tone of contempt can be seen even in the famous passage from the Book of Job refers to a shepherd, "But now they are more I jest youth whose parents I would have disdained to set with the dogs of my flock. "
The only biblical passage that raises the dog the position of the companion of a man can find in the apocryphal Book of Tobit: "So they went out, and the young dog with them."
A common ancestor
When one considers the large number of breeds of dogs and the large number of differences in size and general appearance, you do not could understand how he could have had a common ancestor. After studying the differnce between the Mastiff, the sophisticated Pomerania, Black and Tan miniature terrier, and the Japanese Spaniel, one would naturally wonder how an amazing variety of dogs might have had a single point of origin.
Dog breeders, however, know better. They know it's very easy to simply cross create a variety of dogs selected categories. The big difference between the breeds of dogs is really as rare as the differences between Pygmies and Patagonia, Kerry and Shorthorn cattle, and the Shetland pony and Shire horse.
How similar to dog Wolf
To properly understand the common ancestors of all breeds of dogs, special mention should be made identical skeletal structure of the dog and the wolf. A comparative study of the skeletons of the wolf and the dog reveals the surprising fact that resemble each other so it is not easy to spot any difference between them.
Their spines composed of seven vertebrae in the neck, seven in the loins, twenty to twenty-two in the queue, thirteen in the back, and three sacral vertebrae. Both the wolf and the dog are thirteen pairs of ribs, nine true and four false. Both are forty-two teeth in front and five and four rear toes. The external appearance resembles wolf that of a large dog.
The habits of the two are also similar. The wolf howls, of course, but when confined with dogs he learns to bark. The carnivorous wolf also eat vegetables, and when ill, it eats grass. A pack of wolves that are in the process of hunting followed a systematic division of labor, and some monitoring of the quarry, while some cut their point of escape. In short, the package shows a lot of careful planning, a trait that is common exhibited equipment for hunting dogs and terriers when in action.
There is another point of similarity between the Canis lupus and Canis familiaris. Both have a period of gestation of sixty-three days. A litter of wolf usually composed by threefold up to nine puppies, which are still blind twenty-one days. The mother nurses for two months, and then the pups learn to eat half digested food that one of their parents throw for them.
In all regions, the dog has a large native Similarly, in the shape, size, color and habit, a native wolves. This is a fact that can not be ignored or overlooked. According to the writings of Sir John Richardson, "The similarity between North America, wolves and domestic dogs from the Indians is so great that the size and strength of the wolf seems to be the only difference."
Only one important point has been used to argue against the above observation: while all domestic dogs bark, the wolves that express their emotions in howling. However, it is a weak point of difference. We are all aware of how wild puppies, jackals and wolves, raised by dogs, learning rapidly to the cortex. By contrast domestic dogs that remain in the wild for a long time forget how to bark, while some take the time to learn to express their feelings.
The question of the capacity of the crust can not really be taken into account in the study of the origins of the dog. Finally, Remember this point a lot of difference between a dog and a wolf when we agree with Darwin, who said: "It is likely that domestic dogs in the world have fallen two good species of wolf (C. lupus and C. latrans), and two or three other doubtful species of wolves namely, the European Commission, India, and North African forms, from at least one or two canine species in South America, from different races or species of jackal, and perhaps one or more extinct species. "
Can not deny that the blood of the wolves, in some cases mixed with other races, the currents in our own pets at home.

It was originally coined in 19th century British India to refer to AngloIndians of mixed British and Indian descent. The term has seen some use in anthropological literature from the 1960s. Many Eurasian ethnic groups arose during colonial occupation of Asian regions by European states and private corporations, that started with the great wave of European naval expansion and exploration in the 16th century and continues to the present. The main European colonial powers were Spain and Portugal in the 16th century, followed by the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, and France from the 17th century onwards. The term Eurasian was first coined in British India in 1844. The term was originally used to refer to what are now known as AngloIndians, people of mixed British and Indian descent.
