what is a free and safe site predecessors?

I have to do this project in history class and watch my family history.do you know any safe and free of places where really I can do that this.please me.i also have question.is ancestory.com anothere safe at all?

Not sure of what we mean by security, I've never had anyone ask if it was safe Ancestry.com. There is an excellent tutorial for those who are new to family research in http://rwguide.rootsweb.ancestry.com/ This will help you better understand your project. After completing the tutorial, the following is a basic plan and usually only requires the tools you already have as your computer and the Internet service provider. However, keep in mind that not finding anything online about people living so you have to get that information from family members. The person you know about you is, well, start with your birth certificate, which has its parents, and then ask their parents for copies of birth certificates, which will take them to their grandparents. Then, if the grandparents are living, continue the process. At some point, you experience a problem depending on when the grandparents or great-grandparents were born, that birth certificates did not exist before the decade 1900. Therefore, it is necessary to return to 1930 with the personnel records because such records are not available to the public from 50 to 100 years depending on the jurisdiction that are carried out. When you copy or order these documents, which have gone to a relatively low cost and has three generations itself has already documented with primary documents. That will give both parents, grandparents, 4, and 8 names of the grandparents to begin the investigation. Now, you can use death certificates, marriage certificates, records Census, immigration records, church records, court records and many other sources of research into their ancestry. Public libraries as likely have both Ancestry.com and Heritage Quest.com free for anyone to use, while in the library and a library card must be able to use Heritage Quest at home. Another free online resource is the LDS / Mormon site, which has many free online records and original documents http://www.familysearch.org/ at its pilot site http://pilot.familysearch.org/recordsearch/start.html # p = 0. In addition to their online records, have Family History Centers where you can go to research assistance and the visit of microfilm and only charge a nominal fee if they have to ask for something specifically for you. Find a location near you on your page web and call to check hours of operation. http://www.familysearch.org/. In addition, USGenWeb is another free online resource in http://www.usgenweb.org/. This site is full of tips on how to do, queries and records of all states and most counties within those states. Then, there http://www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/ Rootsweb a free site hosted by Ancestry.com where you can search for surnames, subsequent consultations in the message boards and subscribe to mailing lists last name. In addition, do not forget to check the list and ProGenealogist http://www.cyndislist.com/ Cyndi in top 100 websites http://familytreemagazine.com/article/101best2009 genealogist in both of these sites have many links to the sites free and fee based.
