If you go to the website of your local library probably has a link to Heritage Quest that lets you see in the census for free. Failure to do a search for other libraries some still allow you to access it through them. www.mytrees.com is another site that has ways to get free time. They require records to be transcribed for the time but it is better to pay for it when you have no money to spend.
