Knowing different from a drawing program for mac (that actually works)?
I am honestly trying to do one of the easiest things just a word processor must be able to do: A very complicated family tree, which is so complicated that I'm trying to do it manually (Organization for Word and Excel does not do the work), which basically means I have to do a lot of text boxes within them and lines connecting them in a drawing program for Mac type. I've tried about 6 for Mac programs including Paint, Tux-odd years, starting with a G, and a bunch of others, but either text input functions as a shit, the program is unable to draw straight lines, etc. Please give me some advice, I know I could easily do this in windows 95 PC that paint makes it even more frustrating that I can not do it with a two year old mac. There is not much better than simply using the tools PowerPoint drawing (View> Toolbars> Drawing) without getting into genealogy of specialized software, such as Family Tree (my preference) and Reunion (which I do not like).
