What is the best FREE family tree research programme/site on the net?
Im currently trying to research my family tree online, ive managed to get back a few generations by asking some relatives who are still alive, but now need to branch out further, I would ideally like one that works from my ancestors to the present family members,and had a look at ancestry.com.au, this is very much what im looking for but i already have all the info that that site wants, I want to try go back further.
any ideas would be greatly appreciated!!
