Best ancestor search engine?

I'm writing a report on my family tree. What is the best place where you can find ancestors?

Tree websites not only worth five cents plug. What you need is one that has the documents and papers. Family Trees on its website either free or you have to pay to subscribe, are presented by experts but by people like you and me and no errors. They are rarely documented and if they are not well documented. You'll frequently see other information on these people from different subscribers. Then you will see the same information several times absolutely on the same people from different subscribers, but that would be very foolish if you thought for a moment that this means is correct. A lot of people copy without verifying. Believe me when you find that you're dead, like I did, and his whole family married and died in places where they never lived, you will understand that. If you are not agree with something someone has a family member, the web site owners will tell you that is between you and the other subscriber. Ancestry.Com I think is the best for the amount total original source records online. You have to differentiate between records and pedigrees. One of the places that use the title "Documents FamilyTree. "These are not the records. They have all the U.S. censuses through 1930. The 1940 and later are not available to the public yet. They have military ground, immigration and other records. They have indexes to vital records (birth, marriage and death) of many U.S. states. Now, not all records are online but those who have said that the time and money traveling the country to libraries and courthouses. If it is too expensive, your library may have a pubic subscription to it you can use for free. A free good source is a Family History Center at a Latter Day Saints (Mormon) Church. They have records of people worldwide, not just Mormons. In Salt Lake City, have the largest collection of genealogical world. Your FHCs can order microfilm for you to see a nominal rate. I've never had to try to convert me or I have heard of them doing that to any other person who has used their resources. Just call the nearest the Mormon Church or visit their website for free, FamilySearch.org, to get your schedule for the general public. Here's a link that has links to many web sites, and will not free. Http: / / www.progenealogists.com/top50genealogy2008.htm
