i am really interested in looking for my ancestry, i dont know where to start though!!
i really dont want to pay for these online tools because my grandad tried a few and they were useless
please help me with as much information as you can and anyways you know of that are free
i dont talk to my family and live in england if that helps?

sure there are some sites that can help. First, the best on line recource (and free) is www.familysearch.org
Most others you need to pay for. But if you vist your local library you will probably find lots of information which is free. Much depends on which country you are looking for information in.
