Will The UK Ancestry Visa Still Be Available Next Year?
Hello, I hope to obtain a Ancestry Visa next year to move to Scotland with family. I’m 17 and hold every qualification necessary to do so. How ever I have one more year left of school I want to get done before this also to work and make some money.
I’ve heard in the BBC Press that’s a few times the British Government was trying to abolish the visa but didn’t. Now i’m hearing people say it is to be abolished at the end of 2009! Anyways if that’s the case i’m looking into a Working Holiday Visa. Can Someone also give me some information on that?
There was a big push in Februiary 2008 to abolish the ancestry visa – but so far NOTHING has come of it.
In July 2008 there was an article that said that the home office were NOT abolishing this visa so I think there is NO need to worry.
