Register Book of Births, for the District of Blythswood in the Burgh of Glasgow. Left Greenoch, Scotland 10th March 1912 on S.S. California, Anchor Line 2nd Class Table 128.
Arrived in N.Y. Monday 19th March.Half fare for the 3 children.
She and JRR had no “BANNS” because their parents objected to their marriage so they “ran off” and got married. Both their addresses were 120 Renfrew Street Glasgow, Scotland at the time of their marriage–He an Electrician – Bachelor and she a Spinster.
Witness at their wedding John Reid Wallace and Maggie Whiteside.
Naturalized – Hudson County Court House in Jersey City, New Jersey September 27, 1928 Certificate # 2,815,892.
She was known as “NANA”
Died at the Hilltop Nursing Home Township of Middletown, County of Monmouth, Keansburg, NJ. of a cardiac arrest due to generalized carcinoma.
She and her husband JRR are buried at Leonardo Cemetery in Leonardo, NJ.)

Lived with his wife at 128 Burlington Avenue, Ocean View Section, Township of Middleton in Leonardo, New Jersey. He an his wife EWWR bought the house June 8, 1931 for about $4,500 from Henry and Katherine Fink. A hand written copy of the deed is in “our” collection of papers.
Known as “pa”, he had brown eyes and gray/brown hair.
He was an electrician all his life. Local Union #52, 190 Belmont Avenue Newark, NJ. SS# 152-10-8359.
Died of influenza in Riverview Hospital Monmouth County, Red Bank, New Jersey.
