Why do Americans say that Filipinos seem to Mexicans? even have to compare the two?

stupid American. Katanga thong Naman ninya ko god! not even speak spanish? yes I admit Filipinos or Filipino Christians have Hispanic surnames and that a number of Spanish words were adopted in almost all languages ​​of the Philippines. But I guess that Americans simply do not realize that there are many Chinese and Indian (South Asia) influence on our culture. and we are Malaysians identity yet. I do not think we are still Aztecs or Incas? our ancestors are from Malaysia and Indonesia. The Spanish influence is so pervasive in the Philippines. I guess Muslims and pagans investing simply do not migrate to the U.S. that is why Filipino Americans perceive as Latinos. LOL

I am American .. and I say Filipinos Mexicans seem .. because honestly, I have more to worry about in life which country illegally come
