Will being an Iraq war vet be held against me for obtaining a visa with such a anti-Iraq war atitude in Europe?

I have a Masters in Occupational Therapy because I am tired of the decline of morals in America, the economy, political correctness, the ignorance of the american attitude, and I’d like to live in a country that enjoys peace rather than war. I really feel like America is close to a civil war and I am tired of the hate. With my degree I feel I can do alot of good for a country that would take me..I am of Irish and German ancestry but I can’t speak German so I am thinking of Ireland or England or a predominately English speaking country. Any advise would be greatly appreciated!!!

Your EU visa is granted on you being able to undertake the purpose of your visit (study, temp work, etc) without needing support (welfare, etc) from your host country. No ideological questions are asked.

I understand work visas for the UK are very hard to get – I believe you already need to have employment lined up and your future employer needs to get involved somehow.

From the sounds of it, you might fit in nicely in New Zealand. English speaking country, a very pro-peace people, civil public discourse, big demand for medical professionals, good pay, high standard of living, better weather than the UK, gorgeous scenery….. Check it out!
