"I can taste decent if Native Americans native members of my family were born in Mexico?

On the side of my mother, my family has been Apache Indian. The line has very little white on her, making almost 50% of Apache. I want to get their tribal membership, but that requires proof that my family are Apache. Apache But my whole family was born in Mexico in the north, near the border. I'm pretty sure that they have different laws on native peoples down there and not making a record (as far as I know). I have photos and family trees, but work here in the states?

Each tribe Apache (San Carlos, Mountain White, etc) has its own entry requirements, one of them is that they must descend from this particular tribe apache. (That is, if you are one of the Apache tribe descedant St. Carlos you may be eligible for registration with the San Carlos Apache Tribe, not the White Mountain Apache Tribe.) As has been stated that his family is from Mexico Apache you need to contact the Apache tribe in Mexico to see if you qualify for registration with them. Unless a tribe descended from US-based Apache it is unlikely that you will be eligible for registration with one. Besides being a descendant may also have to comply with a blood quantum, residence or other requirement.

Norman Clay is a U. S. journalist who travels to Mexico to cover a bullfight and research his family history. The narrative moves between Clay's past–the labyrinth of his family tree–and the present, bringing with it the history of Mexico from ancient Indian times to the present. Michener began work on this book in 1961. He set it aside to work on another project, lost track of the manuscript, and thirty years later rediscovered it and completed the book.
