I’m looking for information on my great grandfather and his family. If you like to do this kind of research, I have some names and a few dates but since I’m in the US and the extended plan on Ancestry.com is too high priced, I can’t find much. If you’re interested please email me. I can’t pay but I’ll greatly appreciate any help you can offer.
Would your ancestors be on the 1881 UK census, if so you can search this for free on
http://www.familysearch.org/eng/search/frameset_search.asp?PAGE=census/search_census.asp and click in 1881 census, just put his name in at first and see what information you get………..sometimes if you put too much detail in ie spouse name etc the database doesn’t find the information, at least it will give you a start
