Looking for Drechsler in AUSTRALIA. In particular those currently in South Australia?
I have a family history dating back to 1700 in Lerbach, Johann Heinrich Drechsler who came in 1848ish? (Recite from memory, bear with me). I have over 300 names in the pedigree, but have barely scratched the surface. I have used all sites and am now looking geaneology personal accounts to fill the branches. I am very interested in children of Edward Charles Drechsler and Ena Gwendolin (Nee Moore). Lance is his son (my dad), I know several have died but there are still some out there. Just do not want to start cold calling " the phone. If someone has a Drechsler in your family or know of one for SOUTH AUSTRALIA please please drop me a line. I'm happy for you to contact clarice022798@yahoo.com.au with me if you prefer.
Before opening your question, I searched Google the name + South Australia and got this, http://www.google.com.sg/search?hl=en&q=DRECHSLER+% 2B + + AUSTRALIA south. & BtnG = Google + Search & meta = and was encouraged by the links I've seen. But when I read your question I realized that probably already tried especially since Yahoo's address indicates that you're in the land of OZ. OZ has a rich history, I have only come to appreciate getting to know people and the country. I wish you luck in your search.

The Family Tree $3.98 Rebecca Monroe is terrified of turning into her mother. On the day Lady Diana married Prince Charles, Rebecca?s mother locked herself in the bathroom of 24 Beech Drive and never came out. Was it because the holiday dinner didn?t turn out just right? Because Rebecca?s grandmother married her first cousin? Or was she simply, unalterably unhappy? According to Rebecca?s scientist husband, our genes control our fate, but Rebecca isn?t so sure. Leaving everything to science allows little room for the events that shape our lives. Looking for clues in a family history filled with three generations of mistaken marriages, dubiously fathered children, and hand-me-down sayings, Rebecca discovers she is just one piece of a family history that is still unraveling?and she wonders if events of the past are destined to repeat themselves in her own child?s future. The intertwining relationships of mothers and daughters, sisters and brothers, and husbands and wives go to the heart of The Family Tree as it transcends the story of one woman and her family to become an indelible and resonant novel in which author Carole Cadwalladr ponders what truly makes us who we are. |

Barking Up the Family Tree $3.48 Kids and pets are as timeless a combination as peanut butter and jelly. Pets provide security for kids-a warm buddy to snuggle with on cold winter nights, a sympathetic ear to listen to their woes and secrets (and not tell anybody), a clown of sorts who makes them laugh even when things seem gloomy. And pets find companionship in children, too. Kids give them all the attention they crave and even a few tasty morsels under the dinner table when Mom isn’t looking! Mark J. Asher’s collection Barking Up the Family Tree celebrates that precious, everlasting bond with charming, heartwarming photographs of children and their animals-from dogs and cats to horses and hamsters. Each "awwww"-inspiring photo accompanies a brief "interview" with a child and his or her pet and reveals: " common interests " what the child learned from the pet " what the pet learned from the child " what animal the child would be " what type of person the animal would be |
