Ancestor Bird

If the crocodiles and birds share a common ancestor with dinosaurs, then what is the common ancestor of the dinosaurs?

It is the Eoraptor considered the common ancestor of dinosaurs or simply resembles the common ancestor of the dinosaurs? Where I can find more information on this subject? What are some reliable websites for research?

I recommend the Tree of Life Project (TOL) Web: http://tolweb.org According with this site, the group Archosauria containing dinosaurs and modern birds and crocodiles (http://tolweb.org/Archosauria/14900). It seems that was a theropod dinosaur Eoraptor (Http://tolweb.org/Theropoda/15726), and theropods are just one group of dinosaurs true, it would not have been the common ancestor of all dinosaurs. Unfortunately this site does not have much information about dinosaurs as it does at present living organisms, but the pages that are related to a plenty of references and at least give you a sense of the types of words to search. Diapsids pages (http://tolweb.org/Diapsida/14866) and phylogeny diapsids (Http://tolweb.org/accessory/Diapsid_Phylogeny?acc_id=464) have more background on the origin of archosaurs. Diapsids is the group that includes reptiles such as lizards and snakes and birds, crocodiles and dinosaurs.
