Transferring files to another computer .. data transfer?

I moved a family tree program an old computer (XP) to a new computer (XP) which has the same program. The data transfer. What did I do wrong? I used a flash drive of 2 GB and it should have been a lot of space for the data.

Transfer? Use the copy command! Create a folder on your old computer, Call My Data. Copy all data from your family tree in that folder. Copy that folder to your USB drive. On the new computer, copy the folder on your USB to wherever you want on your new computer. In your family tree smooth consumption, when you open the file you want, you have to open the point where you copied the file. Family Tree will not find it for you because you do not believe in the new computer. You to point the dish gently for your records. This is just one of many ways to do it. You probably have a transfer from the first, but not to the point that the software you copied the data!
