Create Photo Books to Tell a Story
We all know that every picture tells a thousand words, doesn’t it? If that is true, then an organised form of many photos will surely tell a story. And you can add words to your pictures as well. Don’t we feel that it is a great idea to present our photos, especially in a documented form depicting an important event with family or friends?

To create a photo book, you will need to think about the story first, what is it exactly you want to tell with the pictures. You might say that it is very obvious, but there is a subtle side to it as well. Let’s presume that you want to create a photo book for your son’s first league season. Just including all the photos of your son in it might not tell the story in a clear fashion. Rather, pick only relevant pictures which will flow in an order and tell a story; i.e. some special events that took place during league season, special moments, and game or some great plays by him.
It is better to plan your story photo book well in advance of such occasions or events. This will help you in capturing the pictures which will best suit the photo books, rather than being a group of unorganized snapshots. While taking the snaps of league, make a point that you take pictures of his teammates as well. The obvious reason behind is that, your son can give copies of the same photo book to his teammates as well. A well-documented photo book will make an impact on everyone. The photo book will surely make your son more popular among his peers, and this will make him happy too.
You may want to use a consistant layout format for creating very organized photo books. Following the given example, you can create a sport yearbook format, which will have entries according to the game, pictures, box scores, standings, etc. You can also include team practice pictures as well. If this is done properly and logically, it could become a lasting testament for your son’s season and both of you will cherish the memories.
You can create a photo book for any such occasions or events which you want to capture and cherish lifelong. The subject can change with an individual’s choice and taste or importance. Some common examples of photo book telling a story are vacations, weddings, the first ballet of your daughter, or even your dog bath. The subject of your photo book story can literally be anything but the secret is developing the sequence of the story – a beginning, middle and end.
